Ok, first of all, I need to admit that I am a course geek! ๐ I LOOOVE courses…!! ((But if you are also like me.. be careful with the “Shiny Object Syndrome”!))
Here I have list some of the best blogging courses for beginners I have personally purchases and enjoyed, all of them full of value, and mostly all of them done by moms!
But… there is a ton of information out there about blogging. So why paying for courses??
Courses give you a roadmap of exactly what you need. They make you be more committed to your work, instead of trying everyday a new thing.
Courses are a great investment (and I would say a MUST) when you are building your business.
If you are doubting about taking it or not, I highly recommend it, because they will save you so much time. You invest money now, that in some future you will earn thanks to the knowledge you get in the good courses.
Most of the courses I have taken for now are under (or around) 100 dollars, but if you are on a budget, there are also good resources for free.
Here I list my favorite ones, which help you start or improve your blogging.
Best blogging courses for beginners to start a blog from scratch
Make Money Blogging eBook by Victoria Pruett

Read more about this course here!
This is the first course (eBook format) I took about blogging.
Victoria was a teacher and now has a Homestead blog. She started blogging earning about 5 dollars a month ๐ช … until she finally got serious about blogging and…
“After about 4 monthsย of trial and errorย I made enough in one month to cover my husband’s old salary…ย then 4 months later, I was making double his salary!”
Victoria Pruett – Make Money Blogging
Things to know:
- As she needed the money urgently, she has the earn money FAST approach, which is not going to happen from one day to the other, but she give great tips to success faster.
- She uses ads, digital products and affiliate marketing to earn money, writing about homesteading, recipes, crafs and blogging.
- Even if you see year version written on the cover, when you purchase the ebook, you download it from Teachable platform and you can access all the updates every year without paying anything else.
- You will find all the bonuses inside the eBook PDF, which are a great help!!! (I really like the 30 day blogging bootcamp checklist!)
- She sometimes use some coding, but is very easy to follow (just some copy-paste tricks)
- I am not sure now, but when I bought it, there was an upsell offering the same course but in video format with a good discount (and of course I took it), which I also recommend if you are more of a visual person.
The value you get for the price you pay is really good! If you haven’t started your blog yet, or you are thinking about starting one, I really recommend it. If you are more on the side of recipes, food, and informational content where you will monetize your blog with ads, I really recommend this one.

Blog By Number by Suzy Whitford

This is one the most famous (at least I feel like it is!, and I’m nearly sure you have seen it in other lists if you are searching for courses).
What started as a little hobby blog turned into a life changing decision. I never knew blogging could be so powerful. I even retired my husband from his 9-5 corporate job by blogging.
Suzy Whitford – Blog By Number
This is another course full of value. I purchased it after doing the Victoria one, just to have 2 different approaches (hey, I’m like this..๐ )
Things to know:
- From this page you can buy the ebook format, the video course format (I have both of them!), or the bundle.
- Suzy is not using ads on her blogs, she focus on creating digital products (she has another great course about creating printables!) and affiliate marketing, so there is no content about ads (just the video explaining why she doesnยดt like ads).
- Even like this, I love all her courses, they are very clear and motivating! When you complete one, you continue learning different aspects of your blog (email marketing, course creation, …) You can check all Suziยดs courses here!

Printables by Number by Suzi Whitford

As I mentioned before, Suzi has great courses, which complement one another and teach you different aspects while you grow your blog.
If you have no idea about how to start creating digital products to sell on your blog (or maybe if you are thinking of opening an Etsy shop!), this course is great for you.
You get the step-by-step video lessons, ideas, templates, mockups for your products, and other useful resources!
Ok, so many good stuff an no money right now..
Don’t worry! You can also get some of her free stuff:

Best blogging courses for beginners to bring traffic to your blog
Pinterest Strategies by Carly Campbell
If Pinterest is one of your traffic sources for your blog, you need this!!

Carly analyzes this platform very deeply so you understand how it works. She doesnยดt just tell you to do this or do that, but instead, you get to understand what affects the pinning process.
This course, to my knowledge, is completely different than any other strategy you will purchase anywhere else.
I go MUCH farther into the โPinterest Algorithmโ than you’ve ever been โ you will NOT be just โpinning and hoping!โ
Carly Campbell – Pinterest Strategies
Things to know:
- Some years before, it used to be a book that she wrote for her colleagues, and few by few it has become a video tutorial course.
- She focus on few MANUAL pinning per day, but you can apply the knowledge you learn, to use it with schedulers as Tailwind if you prefer.
- It is updated with Pinterest changes of algorithm, so donยดt worry about missing anything!
